MANCHESTER, Iowa - Dorothy M. McGrane, 87, of Manchester, died Saturday evening, Jan. 20, 2001, at Good Neighbor Home, following a short illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manchester, with the Rev. Kenneth Glaser officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home and Crematory, Manchester, where there will be a rosary at 4 p.m. There also will be a scripture service at 7 p.m.

Surviving are four children, Mary Lou (William) March, of Hopkinton, Donald McGrane and Dianne (Phil) Sperfslage, both of Manchester, and Karen (Barry) Davidson, of McKees Rock, Pa.; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald (LaVeda) Drees, of Manchester; and two sisters, Germaine Weigel, of Earlville, and Alice (Minor) Baty, of Coggon.
