DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Lorenz E. Becker, 94, of Dyersville, died Saturday, April 12, 1997, at Oak Crest Manor Nursing Home, Dyersville.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish scripture service at 4:30 p.m.

Mr. Becker farmed the family farm all of his life.

He was born on March 31, 1903, in Dyersville, son of Joseph and Catherine (Goerdt) Becker.

Surviving are two sisters, Alvina and Loretta Becker and two brothers, Herbert and Joseph Becker, all of Dyersville.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Reynold, Clarence and Leander; and four sisters-in-law, Lavina, Irma, and Lucille Becker and Marie (Tegeler) Becker.
