DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Aurelia M. Roling, 92, of Good Neighbor Home, Manchester, formerly of Dyersville, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Good Neighbor Home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with the Rev. Ed Petty officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish scripture service at 4 p.m.

She was born on Dec. 2, 1909, in Worthington, daughter of William and Theresa (Derga) Schaffer. She married Lawrence A. Roling on Jan. 10, 1938, in Worthington. Together they farmed in the Colesburg area until their retirement to Dyersville in 1970. Mr. Roling died on May 6, 1993.

Surviving are two sons, Leo C. (Dorothy) Roling, of Colesburg, and Alan (Jean) Roling, of Dyersville; two daughters, Jeanne (Dennis) Rolfes, of Greeley, and Elaine (Lester) Wulfekuhle, of Edgewood; 26 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Freking, of Remsen, and Clara Kintzle, of Manchester; and a brother, William Schaffer, of Colesburg.

She also was preceded in death by a son, David, in 1949; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Lawrence and Leo Schaffer; and three sisters, Bernice "Sr. Leonard" Schaffer, Mildred Gosen and Margaret Roling.
