DYERSVILLE, Iowa -- Ruby A. Reicher, 59, of Califon, N.J., formerly of Dyersville, died Friday, March 2, 2012, at Compassionate Care Hospice House, Dover, N.J.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Burial of the cremated remains will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Dyersville.

She was born on June 27, 1952, in Dubuque, daughter of Stephen and LuAnn (Wessels) Reicher. She graduated from Beckman High School with the Class of 1970.

Ruby worked in the hospitality industry in Dubuque until moving to New Jersey in 1993, where she worked in the financial collections industry.

Ruby enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing, hiking and biking. She also loved to dance. She had a special love for her canine companion, Brodie.

Surviving are her siblings, Rick (Dianne), of West Dundee, Ill., Rod (Phyllis), of Dyersville, Russ (Julie), of Worthington, George, of San Diego, RoseMary Reicher, of Chicago; nieces and nephews, Josh (Eileen), Tim (CaSandra), Jason (friend, Tonya), Nick (Tracey), Joe, Janelle, Emily (fiance, Rich Minton) and Matt (Nichole) Reicher; seven great nieces and nephews; several uncles and aunts; and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her dog, Brodie.
