DYERSVILLE, Iowa -- Beth A. "Bunny" Overman, 49, of Dyersville, died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, at her home, following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with the Rev. Phil Kruse officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish scripture service at 2 p.m.

She was born on May 3, 1959, in Dubuque, daughter of David and Joan (Moorman) Tauke. She married Dennis J. Overman on Aug. 1, 1981, in Dyersville.

She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Larry Donahue for more than 20 years.

Beth enjoyed life, especially water sports, gardening, golf and being with friends and family. Most of all she was a fantastic wife and mother.

Surviving are her husband, Dennis; two sons, David and Paul, both of Dyersville; her father and stepmother, Dave (Alice) Tauke, of Dyersville; siblings, Doug (Kathy) Tauke and Dan (Sue) Tauke, both of Dyersville, Deb Grattan, of Cedar Falls, Diane (Craig) Reid, of Marion, Sue (Dr. Larry) Ellingson, of Iowa City, and Sandy (Rick) Isenhart, of Littleton, Colo.; father and mother-in-law, Irvin and Lucille Overman, of Dyersville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don (Diane) Overman and Lori (Gary) Wessels, all of Dyersville, Jim Overman, of Lisbon, and Wayne (Linda) Overman, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan; and a sister-in-law, Suzanne Overman.
