DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Stacia Osterhaus, 90, of Dyersville, died after a brief illness Monday, Dec. 29, 1997, at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit, Dubuque. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Osterhaus was a bookkeeper at Dyersville National Bank and a homemaker most of her life. She was born on April 20, 1907, in Petersburg, daughter of H. Joseph and Elizabeth (Bockenstedt) Kramer. She was a life member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, a charter member of the Dyersville American Legion Auxiliary, the Order of Martha and was a hospital auxiliary volunteer.

Surviving are two sons, Dick (Sharon), of Dyersville, and Bob (Ann), of Maquoketa; a daughter, Carol (Robert) Locher, of Boulder, Colo.; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Rose Osterhaus, of Platteville, Wis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al, on Jan. 7, 1953; five sisters and one brother. Memorials may be given to Oak Crest Manor, Dyersville.
