DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Lester A. Osterhaus, 81, of Dyersville, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at his home surrounded by his family.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville.

Surviving are his wife, Gladys; five children, Linda (Ken) Petersen, of Lutz, Fla., Craig (Sherry) and Jeff (Tammy) Osterhaus, both of Dyersville, John (Julie) Osterhaus, of North Liberty, and Deb (Rick) Osterhaus-Eudaley, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three siblings, Laverne (Kathlene) Osterhaus, of Petersburg, Marie Domeyer and Virgie Domeyer, both of Manchester; two sisters-in-law; and a brother-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; a sister; two sisters-in-law; and four brothers-in-law.

Memorials are preferred.
