Roberta M. Wade, 86, died Friday morning Jan. 18, 2002 in the Good Neighbor Home, Manchester, after an extended illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Silver Creek United Methodist Church, rural Masonville, by the Rev. Shirley Rozendaal, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home, Manchester, and one hour before the services Monday at the church.

Survivors include her children, Doug Wade, Richard (Mary Lou) Wade, and Marilyn (Gary) Feldmann, all of Ryan and Keith (Clista) Wade of Denver, Colo.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Allen Cassel of Manchester; and brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Lois Wade of Cedar Rapids, Marlyn (Patricia) Wade of Cedar Rapids, Dorothy Wade of Marshalltown, and LaVina (Art) Goos of Strawberry Point. She was proceeded in death by her parents, William and Edna Robinson; her husband Wilber D. 'Shorty' Wade; a daughter Sharon Cassel; a sister Irene Falconer; and a brother Everett Robinson
