Ed Corell

Edwin James Corell, 83, of Greeley, passed away Friday, February 23, at the Linwood Convalesent Home.
Mr. Corell was born at Greeley July 21, 1884, a son of Edward and Louise Chapman Corell. He attended the Greeley schools. He was united in marriage with Malinda Brown March 6, 1907 at Manchester.
Mr. Corell worked as a buttermaker at Ostendock and several other locations, and also worked as a painter.
They had made their home in Greeley most of their married life.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter Mrs. Joseph (Maxine)Butler of Los Angles, Calif., a son Harry of Colesburg, nine children and a sister, Mrs. A. B. Nichols of Cedar Rapids.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Appleton Funeral Home to the Methodist Church in Greeley where services were conducted by Rev. James Dole.
