She confessed her faith in the Lord when she was 18 years of age and united with the Free Baptist church and was a faithful member for many years. In 1924, March 9th, she, together with her husband, united with the Union Park church of Christ, of Des Moines. Her faith, her love, her fellowship will linger like the memory.. of a sweet dream. Her life was an open book, she concealed nothing. Her life was the summing up of all that was womanly. She believed that charity should hold scales in which are weighed the deeds of men. She raised herself, helping others. She lived a clean and thoughtful life. She understood the meaning of hard work. She added to the sum of human joy. She died as she lived without a murmur, without a ripple, she passed into that waterless ocean of eternal peace and on her brow has fallen the golden dawning of a grander day. She has left us with her wealth of thought, her wings of peace, her virtuous deeds, her love and universal joy that is an monument that the corroding tooth of time and decay will not moulder away.

Walter Mead, of Silvean Springs Ark. Music was furnished by Mrs. T. W. Rogers and John Young with Mrs. John Ehler at the piano.
