LUTHER SLY FOUND
DEAD IN FIELD

HEART FAILURE
PROBABLE CAUSE

Luther Sly was found dead in his field north of town this Tuesday afternoon about 2:15 o’clock. He was in town in the morning and after eating dinner hitched up a team and started plowing in a field some distance from the house. About 2 o’clock his son who was working in an adjoining field saw the horses standing for some time but supposed his father was making some repairs on the plow. After a few minutes the team started off alone across the field on a walk in the direction of the house. Fearing something had happened the member of the family who were at home hastened to the spot where the team had been seen standing and found the lifeless body of Mr. Sly lying on the ground. A careful examination by a physician revealed no marks or bruises that would indicate that he had come to his death by an accident. He had suffered from heart trouble in the past and his physician is of the opinion that his death was due to heart failure.

No arrangements for the funeral have been made up to the time we go to press. Mr. Sly’s obituary will be given in next week’s issue of this paper.
