Thanks for the information about the marriages and obituary! I will have to look those up! I did have the census records... but did not have one for Henderson Ramsey in 1880...and that was the one I most needed to find. Yesterday, however, a fellow Decatur Co. researcher emailed me with that census record. The reasons I couldn't find his family were that his name had been transcribed as "Hamsey" in the index, and he was in Clarke County instead of Decatur County. WAHOO!!! I'm making progress. Thanks for your time!!
