Land title

NEWTON, EWART ANDOR, ROBERTS, JOSEPHINE

I am trying to locate a piece of farmland that my great uncle, Ewart Newton, owned from approximately 1953 to 1956, probably northwest of Grand River, Iowa. I remember staying there in an old farmhouse as a child and have many wonderful memories of my time there with my aunt and uncle. For many years I've wished I could find that land again, just to see it and what became of it, but I have no idea where it was located or how to get to it. Mr. Newton was a resident of Dallas County, living in Dawson, Iowa, when he obtained the Grand River land. Perhaps I need to go to the Dallas County courthouse for assistance. I just don't know. If you have any ideas of how to help me in this search, I would certainly appreciate it. It does seem that there was a rock quarry adjoining the land that my uncle had and a very long lane leading to the old house. Thank you for any help you can give me!
