1950's location

Hello- My mother lived in Decatur county in the early 1950's and is trying to locate the area. Her father/family lived on land owned by a Hain/Hein possibly that had the Grand River running through it, as well as a school house up the road from the house they lived in. Also the land had a bridge of some sort, possibly over the river or a creek, my mom is unsure. Her father also built a chicken coop that apparently stood for many, many years after they moved. The land owner was also supposed to be a doctor in Des Moines. Any help would be great!! Thanks.
