I have some information that was compiled by Roy Vernon Cook son of Monterville Cook.
Emery Powell was married to Annie Roten and they had six children.
Emery, Joe, George, Sally, Beckey,Helen.
Joe died in 1881
Sally died in 1891
Emery died February 16, 1891
Helen Powell died January 26, 1892
Thomas Cook Married Helen Powell in Hamilton cty. Indiana.
They had 8 children.
Emery Hiram, Monterville John, Nancy Annah,Leander Thodore, Hannah Lenora, Charley Wesley, Mary Etta, Marion Thomas

They were members of the M.E. church
She is referred to as Mother Cook
