Thanks to the Obit on web page, H. K. McCalla obit
is on this page listing his wife and places where
he lived in Iowa. He was born in Maryland.
not Michigan. 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900 census all
give place of birth as Maryland. Daughter Minnie
married Joseph Brown of Decatur County.
daughter Mary married James Adams.
Would like to exchange information with anyone
who is searching the Henry K. McCalla family
they lived in twpships of Center, New Buda
H. K. McCalla married 1835 Mary Ann Frazier. She
was born in Indiana and died in 1853in Iowa
