Marie Belva Hammond was born in Davis City, Iowa, in 1906. Obituary from Metro/Iowa dated November 6, 1994, states the names of two living sisters. one of them my grandmother, Dorothy Hoit, and the other is Virginia Sanford of Denver, Iowa. She is buried next to her brother, Bert Bigley in the Grand River Cemetery, in Grand River, Iowa. She lived in Indianola for 15 years. If anyone has any information to shed some light on this family I would surely appreciated it very much.
