Cherry Family, Matthew & Mary

I am trying to find any information about the family of Matthew and Mary Moyer ("Mell") Cherry. Both died in 1894 leaving 7 children believed to have been placed in an orphanage in or near Garden Grove. I don't have much else to go on. Did both parent die in an accident of some sort? Any information or hints appreciated. Hal Haswell
