The lady that owned it before me tried to find the history of the house and did indeed think John Murry was the builder, she thought it was built in approximately 1880. She also thought it was a stage stop I would be interested in hearing if that is true. I know the courthouse was destroyed how can I find out exactly what year it was built. The abstract shows the land was purchased in 1855.
