Hi,
I am trying to do research on my Grand Uncle Earl Henderson and I know very little of him. I am the only surviving family member and there didn't seem to be any data on his birth family. This is what I know:
Earl O Henderson born 20 Oct 1885 in Pleasanton, IA.
Joined the Army when he was 16 (1901)
Settled in WY after getting out of the service. Married in 1911 in Buffalo, WY to Florence K McKibbin. They homesteaded south of Buffalo, ranching until 1946. Then they moved to town and lived there until their deaths.
Earl died in 1975 and is buried in the Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo, along with all the other McKibbin family members.I knew him when I was a youngster. He was a very tall man and smoked a pipe and cigar. But there was never any mention of his birth family that I remember.
Can someone help me with a census look-up? I would like to find out his parents' names and perhaps any siblings he may have had.
