I am looking for information about the descendants of William Slater and Caroline Robbins who moved to Decatur in 1853 with his mother, Anne Robbins, widow of Cornelius Robbins.Their children were: David b. 1859, Elizabeth b.1861, Charles b.1862, Martha b.1864, William Sherman b. 1866, Anna b.1868, Hamilton, Emma b. 1870, Frank b. 1874, Margret, and Sarah b. 1870. William, Caroline, and Anne are buried in the Shy Cemetery. I would like an obituary of Anne Robbins who died in 1867.
William's sisters: Jane (Jennie) married Judge William W. Ellis. They had one child that I know of: Linnie. They are buried in the Leon Cemetery.
Angeline Matsler also lived in Leon. She was the widow of John Matsler III. She is buried in the Shy Cemetery. I would like to hear of the decendents and also anyone who is working on this family tree.
