Bradney History

BRADNEY, LOCKWOOD

I am interested in information on the Bradney School, who and when is was founded - I am researching the Bradney family and looking for a connection. Andrew and Susan Bradney lived in Highpoint, Decatur County, Iowas between the 1850's and 1880's. Andrew Bradney dies in 1857 and is buried in Highpoint Cemetery. It appears Susan Bradney may have married Acil Lockwood between 1860 and 1870. They are listed in the 1870 census has living together. There is also a Bradney listed in the B's under Marriages, but no other information. Any additional information would be most appreciated. Thanks
