OPAL LOUESE MCCARL, daughter of WILLIAM and BESSIE MCCARL, was born at Grand River, Iowa, September l3, l920, and departed this life February 24, l924, being at the time of her death, 3 years, 5 months and ll days old. She leaves to mourn her departure a broken-hearted father and mother, and one sister. We loved her but Jesus loved her best and has taken her home where there will be no more suffering, as her short life had been full of sickness and suffering.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church in Grand River, Tuesday, February 26, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E.C. Vanderpool of Lockridge, Iowa. Interment in the Grand River Cemetery.
