CHARLES C. MUSSELMAN was born Dec. 4, l854, at Chillicothe, Ohio, and died at Leon, Iowa, March l9, l924, aged 69 years, 3 months and l5 days. In l885, he moved to Minneapolis, Kansas, and after residing there a few years, came to Leon, where he resided until his death. While a young man he united with the Baptist Church in Ohio.

He was united in marriage to ROSE S. MCCLINTICK on October l7, l894, and to this union were born three children, JOHN C., LELA and FRED F. JOHN C. died on board ship as a soldier enroute to France during the World War. Besides his wife and two children, one brother and three sisters survive him.

Funeral services were held at the Christian Church in this city, Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W.E. Paterson, of the Presbyterian Church. Interment was in the Leon Cemetery.
