REBECCA J. ALLEN was born October l, l845, in Davis County, Indiana, and died at the home of MR. and MRS. ORIEN KELLER, two miles west of Pleasanton, March l4, l92l, aged 75 years, 5 months and l4 days. She was married to JOHN OFFIELD February l3, l869. Six children were born to them, one dying in infancy. Those living are WM. OFFIELD, of Vernal, Utah, LIZZIE KELLER, of Davis City; NORA RUMLEY, of Hillsdale, Wyoming; CHARLES OFFIELD, of Humeston, and LEWIS OFFIELD, of Winkinsburg, Ariz. Besides these, she leaves to mourn her departure eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

MR. OFFIELD died February 22, l9l4. Since then MRS. OFFIELD made her home with her daughter, LIZZIE KELLER, where she was during her last suffering and death. She united with the Church of Christ at Clear Creek, Mo., in l869. She was associated with the Eden Prairie Church while she lived in that part of Decatur County. She held to the faith till death claimed her. The funeral services were held at the C.A. Chapel in Pleasanton at 2 p.m. March l6, conducted by Wm. J. Campbell. The body was laid to rest in the Hamilton Cemetery beside that of her husband.
