MALISSA WISE was born November 30th, l849, in Putnam County, Ind. Her parents were WILLIAM and KATHERINE WISE and with them she came to Decatur County, Iowa, in l85l, where she grew to womanhood. She was married to S.G. KNIGHT in l865. To this union were born two children, CORA E. FERREL, of Randolph, and IDA, who died in infancy.

When about twenty years of age, she professed her faith in Christ and has always been a consistent Christian. She was united in marriage to MELVILLE MYERS in March, l9l3, coming to Riverton at that time, where she has since made her home. She leaves her daughter and son-in-law, MR. and MRS. FRANK FERREL, a step-son, T.P. KNIGHT, of Isabel, Kansas, and a step-daughter, MRS. CARRIE FERREL, of Pacific Junction, four grandchildren, MERLE, GLADYS, NAOMI FERREL and RUTH FERREL RAYMOND; one great grandchild, one sister, MRS. SARAH E. SANGER, of Clarinda, one brother, W.H. WISE, of Decatur City, and a number of nieces and nephews to mourn her.

MRS. MYERS died at her home in Riverton, Tuesday, November l6th. Funeral services were held at Riverton, conducted by her Pastor, assisted by singers of his choir. Many friends attended to pay their last tribute to one who had always had a warm place in their hearts.
