LELAH MARY RYAN, daughter of ORR and MARY RYAN, was born April l0, l897, near Leon, and died February 9, l920, aged 22 years, 9 months and 29 days. She attended the Leon High School, graduating in l9l6. The following year, she taught school at Grand River for a short time. On Dec. 27, l9l6, she was married at the Leon Brethren Church to RALPH RIDGEWAY. To this union was born one daughter, MILDRED. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, daughter, MILDRED, mother, a brother, CALVIN, and a sister, MRS. ETTA NEWLIN, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Her father died in l9ll.

She became a member of the Brethren Church at Crown Chapel in l9l2, continuing a faithful member till death. She was one of the charter members of the Sisterhood of Mary and Martha. Funeral services were conducted from the Brethren Church by the Pastor and interment was in the Leon Cemetery.
