Jessie Myrtle Sharp, daughter of Uriah and Pheby Nixson Cummings, was born Dec. 22, 1885, at Oxford, Kan. and departed this life at the Ringgold county hospital in Mt. Ayr, Feb. 18, 1966, at the age of 80 years, 1 month, and 27 days.

At an early age she was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and attended services as long as her health permitted.

On Feb. 24, 1907, she was united in marriage to Charles Raymond Sharp and to this union two sons and two daughters were born, Cecil Houston, Oren Richard, Ida Mae and Iva Marie.

Her companion, Ray the two sons, parents, a brother, sister, son-in-law and granddaughter preceded her in death.

Left to mourn are the two daughters, Mae Wells and Marie Wells, one son-in-law, Vivian Wells, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 20, at Stewart's funeral home in Lamoni. Burial was in Masonic cemetery, Eagleville, Mo.
