VIOLET BRINER

Violet Irene Briner was born on December 31, 1909 in Nebraska. She was a daughter of James and Addie Grim.

Mrs. Briner departed this life on October 21, 1990. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Burl Briner; an infant daughter; two infant grandsons, a granddaughter, Tina McWilliams, a grandson Paul Dailey, one sister and four brothers.

Left to mourn her passing are her children Alverta Dailey of Maloy, Iowa, Richard Briner of Creston, Iowa, Earl Briner of Tingley Iowa, Tyrone Briner of Diagonal, Iowa, Claudette Young of Dumont, Colorado, Van Briner of Delphos, Iowa, Candell Smith of Monett, Missouri, Pam Weigel of New Virginia, Iowa, Greg Briner of Tingley, Iowa and Debra Weigel of Ellston, Iowa, 33 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one sister and other relatives too numerous to mention. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held October 24, 1990, from the Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in Mount Ayr, Iowa, conducted by Rev Jack Kendall. Music was provided by Mildred Smith and Karen Pettinger.

Casketbearers were Jim Johnson, David Petty, Danny Weigel, Steve Briner, Allen Briner and Rodney Briner. Burial was in Wheelis Cemetery at Grand River, Iowa.
