Sharon Diane Leonard, age 80, of Lamoni, Iowa, the daughter of Martin Christian and Vivian Louise (Flowers) Neiswanger, was born December 19, 1941, at Keokuk, Iowa. She left this life on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Lamoni, Iowa.

Sharon grew up and attended school in Keokuk, Iowa, graduating from high school in 1959. She worked for the Keokuk Bridge Commission for several years before her marriage to Robert “Bob” Raymond Leonard in 1967. In 1973, the couple moved to the family farm in Decatur County, Iowa. They later built a new house on the property.

Sharon loved living in the country; she enjoyed the cats, geese, and cows. After Bob’s death, she continued to operate the farm.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Bob, in 2000; and sister, Caroline Jenifer Hawes. Survivors include her nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
