ORRA LEE BOWMAN was born April l0th, l90l, and died at her father's home in Leon, December 27th, l9l6, being l5 years, 7 months and l5 days old. While she had been in poor health for more than a year she attended school until about three weeks ago. She was a dutiful child and was held in high esteem by all who knew her. The funeral serrvices were held at the Baptist Church, Saturday, December 30, at 2 o'clock, attended by a large number of relatives and friends. The services were conducted by Rev. Chas. W. Reeder.

The pall bearers were boys that were her schoolmates and the flower girls were also from her school room. Several times during her illness she expressed her desire to go to mamma, who had preceded her three years ago to the better world. Some days before her death, she selected the songs she desired used and the minister she desired to preach her funeral sermon. The songs of her selection were rendered by the high school. The remains were lovingly laid to rest in the Leon Cemetery. She was the youngest child of HARRISON BOWMAN, who has the sympathy of all.
