ROSETTA RUMLEY, daughter of MR. and MRS. J.P. RUMLEY, was born in Decatur County, Iowa, August 6, l896, and died at her home in Leon, Iowa, Sunday evening, December 3, l9l6, at the age of 20 years, 3 months and 28 days.

She was married to GUY MARTIN August l4, l9l4. She became a member of the Christian Church during the Hillis Meetings, and held membership in the church at Leon at the time of her death.

MRS. MARTIN made a place for herself in her circle of friends because of her kindly Christian character, and these friends look forward to the time of meeting in that land where there are no graves or death, marriage or parting, sorrow and woe. They look forward to a dwelling place in that city, whose walls are salvation and whose gates are joy.

She leaves to mourn her decease her husband, father and mother, two sisters and five brothers, and friends and neighbors. Funeral services were conducted from the Shy Church by Henry Esch, Pastor of the Leon Christian Church. Interment was at the Shy Cemetery.
