THELMA ORRENA, the little daughter of MR. and MRS. JOHN BENTON, of near Davis City, was born August 3l, l9l0, and died August l, l9l6, being five years, eleven months and one day old.

Her death came as a shock and brought a sadness over the entire community as she was sick only one week. Little THELMA will be missed as she was a bright, loving child, a community favorite and the idolized pet of her home. And, while she will be sorely missed, yet we should not wish her back again, but let us so live that some bright day we shall see her as one of God's own angels. Jesus said, "Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for such is the kingdom of Heaven." She leaves to mourn her death her father, mother and brother, HAROLD, besides a large number of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held August 3 at the M.E. Church at Davis City, conducted by Rev. Dale, after which the little form was laid to rest in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
