Lena Irene, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira E. Ingram, was born Jan. 28, 1913, and passed from this life on Friday, Feb. 28th. The little one was just four weeks old, and at this tender age an attack of whooping cough proved too hard for her to overcome. Funeral services were held at the home northwest of Leon on Saturday, March 1st, conducted by Rev. C. W. Reeder, interment being in the Leon cemetery. The bereaved young parents have the sympathy of all in their hour of sorrow. May they ever look to Him who said, "Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for such is the kingdom of heaven."
