Duskey Omer Zimmerman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Zimmerman, was born in Leon, Sept. 3, 1884, and died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Alf Bigley near Kellerton, Feb. 2, 1914, the age of 29 years, 4 months and 27 days. He was the youngest of the family and he leaves to mourn his loss a mother, one sister and five brothers. His father, three sisters and one brother passed away before him. Practically all his life was spent in Decatur county, where he was well-liked and respected by all who knew him. He was for several years a sufferer and was always patient and good-natured, and when the end came he was willing to go and passed away gentle and serene. Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Bigley on Tuesday, Rev. West officiating and the remains taken to Leon for burial.
