Died, at her home in this city, Feb. l2, l903, MRS. J.L. PALMER, aged 30 years, 7 months and 24 days.
Funeral services were held at the home of the deceased Sunday, Feb. l5, l903, at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Tennant, of the M.E. Church, of this city. The remains were taken Monday morning to Toledo, Iowa, where they were interred in the family burial lot, by the side of her husband, who passed into the Great Beyond at his home in this city, Wednesday, December 24, l902.
MISS GETTIE FAGAN was united in marriage to MR. J.L. PALMER, November 28, l897, at the M.E. Church of Adel, Iowa, Rev. Nye officiating. To this union were born three children, all of whom are left to mourn the loss of kind and loving parents.
J.B. HEDGE, Worthington, Ind., brother-in-law of MRS. PALMER, and two nephews, W.S. LACY, of Oskaloosa, and FRANK LACY, of Stuart, were present at the funeral services. The remains were met at Toledo by her father, MR. CHAS. FAGAN, of Union, Iowa.
The three children will be adopted by MR. and MRS. J.B. HEDGE and Grandma PALMER will make her future home with them.
