Obituary ~ Ralph Wayne Jones
November 23, 1928 ~ August 26, 1984

Ralph Wayne Jones, son of Floyd Edward and Catherine (Cole) Jones, was born near Grand River, Iowa on November 23, 1928 and died at the Decatur County Hospital at Leon, Iowa on August 26, 1984 at the age of 55 years.

On December 31, 1950 he was united in marriage to Barbara Joyce Crees. To this union were born 5 children.

Ralph was is in auto parts business most of his life, and for the past 10 years, was co-owner of Jones & Crees Auto Supply in Leon.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Maurice.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Leon; five children and 9 grandchildren: Michael Wayne and wife, Cheryl, Shawna and Andrew of Toronto, Kansas; Marla Jean Brown and husband, Robert, Darren, Justin and Jarrod of Earlham, Iowa; Dennis Dean and wife, Susan, Brian Jones and Ty Scott of Davenport, Iowa; Gary Leroy and wife, Janice, Amanda and Jeffrey of Garden Grove, Iowa; and Darrel Lynn of Leon; 2 brothers: Raymond Jones and wife, Dorine, of Beaconsfield, Iowa and Roy Jones and wife, Alma, of Grand River; numerous other relatives and friends.
