OBITUARY - SAMUEL ACTON.

Died, at the home of his father, GEORGE ACTON, in Richland Township,
July 26, l900, SAMUEL ACTON, after a protracted illness from
consumption. He was born near Batavia, Iowa, October 29, l864, and died
aged 35 years, 8 months and 27 days. He was well prepared to meet
death. A brother, whom he longed to see, came a few days before his
death.

The funeral took place at the Camden Baptist Church, services being
conducted by Rev. F. Edwards, of Osceola. Many friends were present to
mingle tears of condolence with the family. He leaves father and
mother, four brothers and one invalid sister to mourn his absence but
they sorrow not as those who have no hope.
