BARBAR JULIA SCOTT was born near Garden
Grove, Iowa, December 23, l885,
departed this life September 2l, l9l5.

She was the daughter of MR. and MRS. JOHN
SCOTT. Her father and mother
and four brothers have preceded her to the
better world. She was united
in marriage to LOU H. PEASE, June 27, l906.
To this union was born one
son, MARION MITCHELL PEASE. She is survived
by her husband, LOU H.
PEASE, and little son, MARION, also one
brother, BERT SCOTT, and one
sister, MRS. DAN ALLEY, besides other
relatives and friends. She united
with the Methodist Church when twelve years
old, which church was always
her choice. She was a faithful Christian, a
kind mother, a loving,
devoted wife.

Funeral services were held at the M.E.
Church, September 22 at 2:30
p.m. The sympathy of all goes out to the
bereaved relatives. Services
were conducted by Rev. Chas. W. Reeder,
assisted by Pastors of M.E. and
Presbyterian Churches. The remains were laid
to rest in the Leon
Cemetery. Truly a good Christian woman
gone--
Heaven's gain.
