28 Aug 1951 in Osceola, Clarke County, Iowa, at the age of 77 years, Minnie
Millard passed away.

The former Minnie May Anstey was born in Delaware County, Iowa, on 10 June 1874,to parents, Mary Ann Binning and William Anstey. Minnie was the 9th child born to Mary Ann Binning Hewlett Anstey, she was welcome in a home of 5 half brothers & sisters and 2 brothers. When Minnie was about 6 years of age she moved with her parents and brothers & sister and half brothers John & Richard Franklin Hewlett and half sisters: Sarah Hewlett, Tamara "Anna" Hewlett Harris & Mary Ann Hewlett Evans,to Decatur County, Iowa. She attended High School in Decatur.

Minnie married Frank Millard on Feb.28 1901 in the M.E. Church and to this union 3 children were born, daughter[s] Edith Mae Millard, [Martha Pearl Millard] and son Robert James Millard dying in infancy.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank Millard,children Edith Mare, Robert James Anstey, brothers: William Elsworth Anstey, & Fredrick Lincoln Anstey. Also 4 half sisters & 2 half brothers.

Minnie Anstey Millard was a member of the Baptist church a devoted mother, wife,daughter, sister & Aunt.

She was laid to rest by her husband in Grand River Cemetery.

Final Rites For Mrs. M. Millard
Final rites were conducted from the Baptist church in Grand River this afternoon for Mrs.
Minnie M. Millard, 77, who died in a nursing home in Osceola, Tuesday. Services are in
charge of the Lamoree Funeral home with the Rev. Virgil Bailey officiating. Burial was made
in the Grand River Cemetery. One daughter, Pearl, survives.
