Randena J. Wagner, 88, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland.

Randena was born November 23, 1926 in Decatur County, Iowa the daughter of Ralph Henry and Zelma Beatrice (Foland) Baker.

Randena attended school at Bordeaux, Wyoming and then went to high school at Wheatland and graduated in 1944. After graduation she moved to Culver City, California and worked in the defense plant where she was an elevator hop for several months. She returned to Wyoming June, 1945. She met and married Wesley Wagner on September 13, 1945 and to this union they had nine children.

Some of her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, watching sports especially the Rockies, Broncos, Avalanche, and Nuggets, playing video games, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Wesley (Gayle) Wagner Jr, Linda (Stan) Johnson, Kerry Wagner, Lavona (Steve) Melius, David (Jean) Wagner, Debra Havard, Phyllis (Perry) Hagemann, Dewight (Deb) Wagner, and Duane Wagner; twenty one grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband on February 5, 2004 and her siblings, Edger Earl Baker, Eston Devere Baker, John Franklin Baker, and Iva Verlene Redding.

Gorman Funeral Homes - Platte Chapel of Wheatland was in charge of arrangements.

[Interment was made at Wheatland Cemetery, Wheatland, Wyoming.]
