DIED -- Betty Jean Vance-Schwickrath nee Maus age 82 late of Tinley Park, IL. Beloved wife of the late Earl Vance and the late Fred Schwickrath. Loving mother of Sharon (Bob) Morgan, Jim (Carol) Vance, Barb Wayce, Steve Vance and step sons Fred and David Schwickrath. Proud grandmother of Bob, Michele (Kevin), Jamie, Jenna, Dylan, and great grandmother of Tyler, Amanda, Jason, and Stephanie. Caring sister of Donald Maus. Preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings.

Funeral service Thursday February 14, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at the Vandenberg Funeral Home 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL. 60477. Interment in Cedar Park Cemetery, Calument Park, Illinois. Betty Jean was first married December 9, 1944, Chicago, Illinois, to Earl Milton Vance (born July 15, 1920, Toledo, Ohio, WWII Veteran, U.S. Navy, died January 3, 1986, Hazel Crest, Illinois, interred Cedar Park Cemtery); married second to Fred L. Schwickrath (born April 23, 1917, Chicago, Ill. and died July 29, 2004, Tinley Park, Illinois, cremated).
