Mrs. S. O. Sprinkle.

Julia Clara Dobozy-Sprinkle was born at New Buda, Decatur county, Iowa, on the 8th day of June, 1883, and passed from this life to the life beyond at 11:40 a. m., on the 27th day of September, 1913, at her home in New Buda township, being 30 years, 4 months and 19 days of age.

Her sickness was of short duration, only six days.

Julia was the ninth of ten children born to Mr. and Mrs. Emery Dobozy. A twin sister and a dear father have already passed to the other world.

She was united in marriage to S. O. Sprinkle on July 22nd, 1906 and lived on their farm 2 1/2 miles south of Davis City, Iowa, close to her old home place, where all of her happy life was spent.

Mrs. Sprinkle united with the M. E. church at Davis City, in 1906.

She was kind and loving and respected by all who knew her. Death came to Mrs. Sprinkle very unexpectedly, her condition not being thought to be serious at first but proving fatal despite all that loving hands and hearts could do. Her death has cast a deep gloom over the entire community.

There are left to mourn her death, a husband, three step children, Leah, Fay and Dale Sprinkle, an aged mother, three brothers and five sisters: Louis, Frank, Stephen E., and Kathryn N. Dobozy and Mrs. Mary Hampton, all of Davis City, Mrs. Jennie Hines, of Mt. Park, Okla., Mrs. Lizzie Repass of Birmingham, Mo., and Mrs. Emma Hamilton, of Curtis, Neb., all being present at the funeral except one sister, Mrs. Jennie Hines. She leaves besides near relatives many others and a large circle of friends, whose sympathies go out to the bereaved ones.

The pallbearers were Mrs. Sadie Fetty, Mrs. Inex Floar, Mrs. Gertie Flora, Mrs.Jessie Craig, Mrs. Laura Boeger and Mrs. Martha Miller.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. A. Place from the M. E. church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment was made in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Davis City.
