William Roger Larsen, 72, of Marysville, CA, and formerly of Rapid City, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011, after a battle with bone cancer. He was surrounded by his loved ones at the home of his son, JR Runion.

Bill was born December 29, 1938, in Rapid City, SD, to Alvin and Carrie Larsen. He was the last surviving triplet born to Alvin and Carrie Larsen. He attended schools in Farmingdale, Caputa, and Rapid City, SD.

Survivors include four daughters, Veronica Edwards and husband Steve of Green River, WY, Laura Miller of Rock Springs, WY, Kathy Larsen of North Carolina, and Jody Rodgers of Lyman, WY. Also surviving are five sons, Billy Larsen and wife Ginger of Elko, NV, John Larsen and wife Janet of Rapid City, SD; JR Runion and Bob Crongeyer, both of Sacramento, CA, and Josh Larsen of Las Vegas, NV.

His survivors include three brothers, Rollo Larsen of Farmingdale, SD, Walter Larsen of Central City, NE, Leslie Larsen of Mandan, ND; and two sisters, Viola Stanec of Rapid City, SD, and Nela Napoli of Farmingdale, SD. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his special girl, Ginny Overmyer.

His parents; wives, June Freeman Larsen and Inez Runion Larsen; sister, DeElda Kursave; and brother, Verlin Larsen, preceded him in death. Also preceding him were his triplet sister, Wilma Winston, and triplet brother, Willard Larsen; as well as his son, Philip Larsen, and grandson, Ryan.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 5, 2011, at Kirk Funeral Home in Rapid City. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Kirk Funeral Home with interment following in the Larsen Family Cemetery in Farmingdale [Pennington County, South Dakota].

In lieu of flowers, Bill has asked that all donations be made to your local Hospice.
