Edna Evaline Mills, daughter of George and Lizzie (Miller) Butcher, was born in Bloomington Township, Decatur County, Iowa on Nov. 10, 1917, and died Feb. 10, 1985 at the Decatur County Hospital, Leon, Iowa, age 67 years and 3 months.

Surviving are her husband, Garould Mills, Decatur, Iowa; son, Neal Akes and wife Kaye, Powell, Wy.; three daughters: Loretta Kelly, Leon, Iowa, Rosetta Barker and husband Ron, Coon Rapids, Iowa, and Betty Wilcox and husband Earl, Churubusco, In.; 20 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Darrell (Dolly) Young, Decatur, Iowa; and brother, Rev. Mr. John Butcher of Washburn, Mo.; aunt, Vurna Norman, Davis City, Iowa; two step-children: Mrs. Darrel (Phyllis) Foland, Van Wert, Iowa, and Marvin Mills, Osceola, Iowa; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Muscular Dystrophy Fund.

[Interment was made at Decatur Cemetery.]
