NETTIE HODGES was born in Clarke County,
Iowa, July l7, l864, and died
May 6, l9l5, aged 50 years, 9 months and l9
days.

She was united in marriage to O.M. WILLIAMS
October 3l, l882. To this
union were born ten children. The seven
living were at home and present
when their mother passed away. Three
children, LEAH, aged l6 months and
ALBERT PEARL and ORVAL died in infancy. She
leaves to mourn her death a
husband, a son, HARRY, six daughters,
GEORGIA, NEVA, GLADYS, LILLIE and
EMMA, and an aged father, one brother, C.H.
HODGES, of Weldon; two
sisters, MRS. JOHN LEDGERWOOD, of Osceola;
MRS. CHAS. TABLER of Weldon;
besides a host of friends.

A number of years ago MRS. WILLIAMS, with her
husband, became a member
of the Methodist Church, in Weldon. She has
lived in the community
where she was born most all of her life and
was well known and highly
respected by all. She was generous and kind,
a dutiful wife, a loving
mother and a good neighbor.

MRS. WILLIAMS made all arrangements for her
passing away, and for every
detail of the funeral service. At her
request, the flowers used were to
be home grown, and friends gathered and gave
them with willing hands and
loving hearts for this dear mother. Funeral
services were conducted at
the home on March 8, at one o'clock,
conducted by Rev. Geo. E. Mitchell,
assisted by Rev. Cunningham. The text was
found in Hebrews, ll chapter
and l6 verse. The theme, "A desire for a
Better Country." Singers from
Weldon furnished the music. Some of the
songs were her own selections,
and favorites of hers. Interment was made at
Green Bay Cemetery. The
bereaved family have the sympathy of the
entire community.
