Obituary ~ Loretta Viola "Lottie" (Stanley) Hubbard
June 19, 1905 ~ February 03, 1967

Lottie Viola, daughter of Homer and Grace Brantwait Stanley, was born in Decatur County Iowa near Lamoni, June 19, 1905. She was one of a family of nine. When about 12 years of age her parents moved to the Luneville vicinity.

She was united in marriage to William Linzie Hubbard, and to this union four children were born. The family farmed until about 13 years ago, when they moved into Garden Grove where they continued to make their home.

Lottie has been in failing health for the past few years. She died in the Decatur County Hospital Friday, February 3, 1967 at the age of 61 years, 7 months, and 14 days. She had given her heart to her Lord and was prepared to go home.

Her parents, one daughter, Viola, and one brother, Raymond, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband and three children: Twyla Elaine McKee, Leon; Charles William Hubbard, Indinola; Janice Loretta Carrico, Dearborn, Mo., six grandchildren; brother, Vernon Stanley of Chugwater, Wyo.; six sisters, Bessie Evans, Nina Shelton, Dorothy Husted, and Vera Sherman, all of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Edna Radcliff, Confidence, IA; and Ruth Sherman of Colorado; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lottie was a loving wife and mother, a good friend and neighbor.

[Interment was made at Leon Cemetery, Leon, Iowa.]
