GORSLINE, CONNIE MARIE, 51, of near New Virginia, Iowa, died on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at her home. Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, Iowa, with Pastor Lee Webb officiating. Interment followed in the Leon Cemetery, Leon, Iowa. Contributions may be made to her family.

Connie Marie Gorsline, Daughter of Clifford Delmar and Helen Wilma (Prall) Cunningham was born, January 31, 1960 in Des Moines, Iowa and passed from this life Thursday, March 24, 2011 at her home near New Virginia, Iowa at the age of 51 years.

Connie received her education in the Leon Schools and was united in marriage to Steven Douglas Gorsline on September 4, 1976 at Leon, Iowa and three children blessed this union.

Connie worked as a Telecommunications Operator for Schwans Sales and had also been employed at Furnas Electric in Osceola for several years. An avid gardener, Connie has also enjoyed collecting antiques over the years.

Those relatives who preceded Connie in death were her parents; daughter, Jessica Gorsline; and her brother-in-law, Ricky Gorsline.

She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Steve Gorsline of New Virginia; daughter, Sara Gorsline of Johnston; son, Danny (Lecy) Gorsline of Hobbs, New Mexico; grandchildren, Briana, Jaelyn and Kailee Gorsline of Hobbs, New Mexico; sisters, Laura (Larry) Bendlin of Spencer, Jan (Ron) Lukes of Mason City, Marsha (Jerry) Waugh of Des Moines; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Daleth Gorsline of Leon; sisters-in-law, Diana Gorsline of Des Moines and Terrie (Larry) McBroom of Weldon as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

[Interment was made at Leon Cemetery, Leon, Iowa.]
