ALLIE PETERS, daughter of GEORGE and MARTIN
SMITH, was born in Mahaska
County, Iowa, June 29, l873. She died at her
home in South Leon
December 20, l9l4. She was united in
marriage to SHERMAN PETERS
November 29, l893, and to this union were
born nine children, one dying
in infancy. MRS. PETERS accepted Christ as
her Savior during a revival
meeting held in the Bethal Church twelve
years ago. She has done what
she could to live her life for Christ and her
family. The day before
she was called to her Heavenly home she
expressed her faith in Christ
and said she wanted to pray.

She leaves an aged father and mother and a
sister, and several
half-brothers and sisters; also her husband
and eight children to mourn
their loss.

Funeral services were held at the Bethal
Church on the 2lst, at l2:30.
She was laid in the town cemetery to await
the resurrection day.
