Myrna Delphine Miler was born June 20, 1928 at Decatur County, the daughter of Clifford Davis and Merle Hatfield Davis. She died July 15, 1989 at the Clarke County Hospital in Osceola at the age of 61 years and 25 days.

She attended Decatur County schools and lived the last 26 years in Osceola.

Delphine was a doll collector and enjoyed this hobby very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Linda Carol.

She is survived by Dan Black and wife, Heidi of Osceola; Galene Argetsinger and husband, Robert of Runnells, and John F. Miler and one grandchild, Matthew Argetsinger. She is also survived by two sisters, Alberta Carpenter and husband, Walter of Osceola, and Deanna Garrity and husband, Richard of Milwaukee, Wis.; and two brothers, Charley Davis and wife Wanda of Osceola and Lane Davis and wife, Mary of Leon; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Rites Held Tuesday for Myrna Miler

Services for Myrna Delphine Miler, 61, who died Saturday, July 15, 1989 at the Clarke County Hospital, were held Tuesday, July 18, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. The Rev. Clifford Haider officiated with interment in Grand River Cemetery at Grand River.

Mrs. Miler was born June 20, 1928 in Grand River, the daughter of Clifford and Merle Hatfield Davis. She attended Grand River Schools and was a nurses aide at Clarke County Hospital. Mrs. Miler lived in Osceola for 26 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Linda Carol.

Survivors include two sons, Dan Allen Black and wife, Heidi, and John F. Miler of Osceola; a daughter, Galene Jeannette Argetsinger and husband, Robert, of Runnells; two sisters, Alberta Carpenter of Osceola and Deanna Garrity of Milwaukee, Wis.; two brothers, Charles Davis of Osceola and Lane Davis of Leon and one grandson, Matthew Argetsinger.
